Dear DuFief Families,

National Teacher and School Staff Appreciation Week is May 8th-12th. We have planned a bunch of activities for this appreciation week and we need your help to make it a success. 

We especially need your help with:

1.  Donating Gift Cards:
Donating gift cards -(Link)-- we need 70 gift cards to ensure that each DuFief staff member receives one.

2. Volunteer opportunities to help make the week run smoothly (link)

3.  On May 9th, students will be asked to bring a flower or two for their teacher or a DuFief staff member.

4.  On May 11th,  students are asked to write your teacher and any other DuFief staff members a note or draw them a picture telling them how much you appreciate them.

To all of you who came out to Dogfish Head Ale House!  Collectively we raised over $1500!  Thanks to Brandy Miller, who organized this amazing Dining for DuFief event.

To all of the volunteers who came to our 2nd Beautification Day and those who donated their snacks and time.  

We planted two trees, planted flowers, trimmed, pulled weeds, and laid out 20 cubic yards of mulch, all before the rain came! 

To all of the families who contributed to the First Grade Family Earth Day Breakfast! 

Thanks to the Sunshine committee for helping coordinate all of these great events for DuFief staff.

It's time to link your Harris Teeter VIC card to start earning $$ for DuFief Elementary School. VIC cards can be linked to up to 5 schools, but you must sign up each year. 

Last school year, 22 families earned $217.91 for DuFief just by linking their VIC card and shopping at Harris Teeter.
